Brain Entrainment : Four Basic Frequencies and a Binaural Beats Free Download

Not long ago, a friend of mine asked me what the different types of brain entrainment are and whether there is a chance for her to download a free sample of binaural beats. So I promised her to write about these in my next blog post. Here we go.

To begin with, when the human brain functions, electrical activity takes place and this activity is commonly referred to as brain wave frequency. Brain wave patterns are measured in cycles per second, or hertz. Brainwaves come in a range of different frequencies. These frequencies of brainwaves range from the least active to the most active, namely delta, theta, alpha and beta. Let’s take a closer look at these brain entrainment frequencies and how they affect the body before you decide whether a binaural beats free download would suit you.

Below is a chart that shows the four most common brain wave classifications. Each of these can be broken down into frequencies that affect a different part of the conscious and subconscious mind. Each classification has many possible variations, and studies have shown different combinations will produce different effects.
Frequency range Name Usually associated with:
13 to 40 Hz Beta waves Active, busy or anxious thinking and active concentration
7 to 13 Hz Alpha waves Relaxation (while awake)
4 to 7 Hz Theta waves Dreams, deep meditation, hypnosis
< 4 Hz Delta waves Deep dreamless sleep

Brain entrainment is very safe to use. Despite the fact that it aims to change the brain’s activities through frequencies produced by binaural beats, brain entrainment uses the exact same frequencies that we touch upon every day in our daily lives. For instance, our brain normally is at Beta when we are awake but it will go in and out of alpha throughout the day, depending on how deep our mind is engaged with something we are doing.

Binaural beats allow you to reach certain levels of consciousness "On Demand". They work immediately, and are felt during and after even the first use. In fact, they represent a powerful tool that is used by neurophysiologists the world over. You should consult with a doctor before using Binaural Beats if you have heart problems, a history of mental illness, or any other factors that you're not sure about. Other than that, brain entrainment with binaural beats is very safe to use.

Hopefully, the above explanation solves my friend’s puzzle about brain entrainment and you are strongly advised to try a binaural beats sample free.
